Subject: Used Book Sale

The Altamont Public Library has MANY used books for sale every day! 
Unless otherwise marked, the prices are 10 cents for paperbacks and up to $4.00 for hardbacks. 

There is a used books book cart near the front door.  The book son the cart are books either donated that are duplicated on the library shelves, or books donated to be sold.  Many of these books have been gently used and some are even new books that were donated.  There are also a wide variety of books for sale located in the back of the library.  Please stop by and browse these book sale shelves during normal library hours.

All proceeds directly benefit the library 100 percent, either through funding book purchases, or for much needed equipment, supplies, etc.

The Altamont Public Library also needs donations for forthcoming Book Sales. We accept:

·         Books

·         Tapes and CDs

·         Old maps and postcards

·         Children's books

·         Magazines such as art, antiques, cookery, home decorating, children's and general interest

Please bring your donations to the Circulation Desk. For large donations, call (618) 483-5745 to arrange for a pick-up.  Donations are tax-deductible to the extent permitted by law.
