The Easter holiday is fast approaching.  If your children or grandchildren would enjoy books about the Holy Week, visit the Altamont Public Library. 

“There are many Easter books available for children of all ages.  We have books about Holy Week, Easter customs, and the Easter Bunny suitable for all ages.  In terms of both text and illustrations, I consider the following picture books among the best.  We even have Easter books that have become classics,” stated Beth Speers, Librarian.  “The Golden Egg by A. J. Wood, Rechenka’s Eggs by Patricia Polacco, The Easter Rabbit’s Parade by Lois Lenski, and Clifford’s First Easter by Norman Birdwell are just a few of the wonderful Easter books available.  Share these wonderful books with your children and grandchildren.”
