NEWS RELEASE
For Immediate Release:
January 9, 2006 Has Narnia-mania invaded your home? The Altamont Public Library can sweep your way to Narnia in a variety of formats. The library has the entire series in book format, books-on-CD, and the BBC movies. What better way to spend the winter than exploring the land of Narnia or even learn about the author, C. S. Lewis. This tale involves children who discover a door into another land that includes mythical creatures, talking animals and the struggle between good and evil. “Great stories, like the Narnia series, lead to adventures and stories about exotic lands. These types of stories are almost limitless, and remind both children and their parents what a huge resource the public library is,” said Beth Speers, Librarian. “Read all seven books in the series. These books are perfect for children and adults alike.” For more information on the Altamont Public Library call 618-483-5457 or go to www.altamontpubliclibrary.com. |
