Subject: Altamont Public Library book club meeting for February

The Altamont Public Library Book Club will be meeting on February 25 at 6:30 p.m. in the front of the library.  February’s book selection is “People of the Book” by Geraldine Brooks.  This fiction book is a complex love story, thrilling mystery, vivid history lesson, and celebration of the enduring power of ideas.  Books are available at no charge with an active library card.  If interested in attending, just ask for a copy of the book. 

Do you like to share your love of reading?  The book club meets at the library the last Thursday of every month to discuss that month’s book selection, and to choose the next book to read.  Everyone is invited to these meetings for the opportunity to meet and discuss a wide variety books, both fiction and non-fiction.
